It has been really lifeless for the boy, trying to finish all his homework. He tried hard to get back to reality after all the fun he had in Chrysalis. It was an unforgettable awesome week.

So, he decided to recall back all he had done in this camp, every single piece!

8th of December 2012, a day before the camp started, he woke up earlier than usual because he was too excited for the things yet to come. He reaches KLIA, international airport of Malaysia, and stated waiting for the check-in long queue. He met up with the girl, Sue Yi that she will be in the same flight as the boy. Before depart, the boy gave a huge and tight hug to his parents and her sister, promising them bring souvenir back. It was a long 7 hours flight. He did enjoyed the flight as the meal was provided and so does the good service. He was thankful that Sue Yi was with him because he knew nothing about the process of everything.

Reaching Brisbane, Australia at night time. After they have done everything, they first thing they saw after leaving the emigration department, there was a man nearly bald with white hair holding a piece of board written their names on it. The man called Paul was a driver that in-charge of the transport bringing them to Emmanuel College. There was another 17-year-old boy named Victor was with them during the journey. He tried to talked with the driver, Paul and with Victor, from Sarawak, Malaysia, to kill the awkwardness in the air.

After reaching Emmanuel College, the friendly security, Steve came to introduce himself. The boy was a little shocked how friendly the people were here. Steve brought all of them including those who reached at the same time the boy did, Sebastian and Celine who is from Jakarta, Indonesia and a canadian, Mark from Singapore to a small and short tour around Emmanuel College. He also did brought them to the kitchen and get them some food for late dinner. After the brief tour, they all settle down in their own dorm and the boy later met Calvin from Jakarta, Indonesia and the leader, Tom (TC). The boy was surprised in his own dorm that everything was fully prepared for him. The only thing was malfunctioning was the table which he got a change later on.

9th of December 2012, he woke up early at 6 in the morning which is still 4 in Malaysia. It was so quiet like he was all alone in the College. He took a quick bath and brushes his teeth and grab his camera and shades and took a walk around to make himself feel comfortable with the new surroundings. The cold breeze the was so nice that he could never had a taste of that in Malaysia. After having a walk around, he went back to check if everyone has already woke up. The first thing he saw was Calvin staring outside his own dorm. The boy had no idea what happened but he had a short chat with him and knew that there was a convenient store just around the corner that he could get himself an adapter.

He had no idea where should he head to while there is a lot of residents around jogging and cycling in the nice and cool morning. The joggers was all friendly saying 'How do you do today' or 'Good morning' to the boy even the boy was a stranger to them. They were so friendly that the boy could not stop himself by replying GOOD MORNING! He tried to talked to some joggers asking for direction to the convenient store, there was an old couple trying their best by asking some others about the store. He was so thankful that he don't know how can he express that. All their replies was just 'No worries' and jogged away without hoping something in return.

The friendliness can be continually felt by the boy after reaching the convenient store by the greetings of the workers at IGA. He asked for some assistant from them to get himself an adapter. And that was the first item he brought after reaching at Australia. On the way heading back to the college, he felt the cool breeze freezing his cheek and that was really comfortable. He took a few pictures of the wonderful scenery as he don't want to miss any of the great moment.

After reaching back at the college, he tried to talk with those Indonesian from Jakarta, Calvin and Sebastian. Together they went to the dining hall to fill their stomach with some 5 stars breakfast. The food prepared was so awesome that it was compatible with those 5 stars hotels back in Malaysia. There were bacons,

Chrysalis has been over for around 5 days, but the boys still misses the good time he had with his newly-made friends over there. Every night before he sleeps, he will recall how they met, and how much fun they had. Every morning waking up realizing it's already over. He wished that he could have the ability to change the time back so he could have done more greater things than this.

He misses every single moments in the Chrysalis Summer Camp. The moments where everyone without differentiating gender and plays soccer together, scoring and cheering together. The time where they sit together in their own cultural attire, knowing the difference between cultures. Shouting at each other 'WEREWOLF' and calling them weird names. Photo-boming each others' photo in a formal dressing. These were the moments where the boy will never forget in his life time.

35 incredible young adults..
From 15 different countries...
For 7 unforgettable days.

Chrysalis International Summer School 2012.
The best week.

But technology nowadays did a really great job in keeping people in touch. During afternoon, this boy gets to Skype and Oovoo with the ones who are far away like Japan, Indonesia and more. It was the best time after the camp, where these amazing people still gets to keep in touch!

:)

This boy was quite surprised that the girl would actually stop by and comment in his picture. He had no much to hope but just hope that she would smile always.

Best week ever. This boy had no idea it would be that awesome for this camp. Now, back to life, back to reality. The one week fantasy has ended and it would be just memory by now.

He made a lot of friends that ha has not expected the first place. 35 people coming from 15 different countries meeting each other for 7 days. It would be one of a kind experience that he would not have in the future. Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, New Zealand, Philippines, Japan, America, and more. It was a really sad moment when the camp come to an end and everyone have to leave. With the help of the technologies nowadays, the boy kept in touch with the friends he made. Skype-ing and Oovoo-ing was a really nice time he had after the camp.

The camp, Chrysalis was a really nice camp that teenagers should have gone to. Fun activities and of course five stars food! he did a lot of things that he wished to do before he dies. Hugging a koala, having a formal dinner, make new friends and more. If you are reading this, please make sure that you will sign up for Chrysalis!

This is not the end but just the beginning!

:)

He had been missing the girl in those free times he had during the camp. Well, he did wish her luck to Hong Kong and some issue with tuition. well, that's it.

It was the third day for the boy in Brisbane, Australia. It was really nice here.  The morning breeze was freezing, but people were just jogging around the neighborhood, and cycling too. He did get to say hi to some of them jogging and they were really friendly.

Foods were just too great to describe it. It was different everyday and he gets to try them all.  He just can’t stop himself for getting the second and third helping. It would be really dump to resists it. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were the best times in Australia.

Well, people were nice here but it the boy still have some little trouble to start a conversation. Their ways of talking were just far more better then the boy. He would really like to improve his English when going back to Malaysia. He was trying his best to get what they were trying to tell. Well, he did get some of it; if he doesn’t, he will just pretend he did and smiled back just to avoid some really award moments.

He did made some friends out there. Some were from Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, some were even from Japan. They were really nice and made great friends out of it. Fooling around, talking crap jokes, Making fun of each other. These are some moments that the boy should really cherish.

Through this summer camp, he did learn a lot about many things and had some really great experience. Firstly, he had his first time getting on plane alone, without parents accompany and he had a safe landing. That was really amazing getting himself out of trouble.

The next thing was getting things done as a group with people from different country, cultures, and maybe state. It wasn’t really going that well for him but he did have some great time. It was the first time for him hanging out with this big bunch of people from different places. It was awesome and that what he could say.

Cultural night! He also had his first time wearing a Baju Melayu walking around and has his dinner. Although he looked weird but it was new for him. Another thing that was new for him is wearing formally, like having his blazers on. He looked smart maybe, but it was quite stressful because he has to look really ‘gentleman’ during the dinner and he was not being himself. Hope things will turn better on him and have luck!

:)

He didn’t contact that girl and he didn’t receive any message too. Well, it should be normal. He wished he really could just tell her that he safely arrived and having fun but not just this time. Hope to get in touch with her soon.

Tomorrow! This boy will enjoy himself in a summer camp at Australia. It will be a whole new experience for him. Meeting new friends from all around world, taking the flight alone for the first time, having discussion in group with people with different cultures and backgrounds. He hope nothing goes wrong during the presentations, flight and most importantly communications. English was not the first language for him but he will try his best during interaction with members. All the best, he prayed.

Well, he took a lot of time preparing for this summer camp too. Hoping something will surprise him, maybe a scholarship? Crossing his fingers, he studied about the topics related to the theme of the summer camp. His parents had also invested in him, buying him the best outfits so he looks good and give a good impression to the organizers. He packed all the things the day before, just to make sure no troubles that day. May God be with him!

Counting down, less than 24 hours.

:)

Before he leaves, he hopes he would just receive a short text from the girl, written down 'safe trip'!

X-box was really fun! That was the thought that struck the boy's mind after getting his hands on it.
It was awesome. Having getting control of black-ops, driving a sporty car into a tunnel for shortcuts, banging the car without injuries. He had so much fun even he forgotten about the promise he will be back on time. The rain made things worst, he can't walk home so he need to wait for his dad to fetch. Well, he will like to thank his friend for the invite, and GET WELL SOON! Aiman :)

The boy also had some great time having dinner with his family. Not much talking but yeah, everyone is there.

Football! This boy is enthusiastic about playing football. Every evening, he wish that it would not rain, and he would have free time just for the one hour fun. Yesterday, they played till late evening, and really enjoy themselves and imagining they were playing at a big field. It was just a badminton court actually.

:)

That girl had some trouble, and was unhappy. The boy took the responsibility to cheer her up. But not really working out. Next year, they are going to have the same language tuition, this boy hopes that he could really concentrate well during the lesson.

Little boy having quite some awesome happiness these few days.

A not-much-people-attending-gathering was cancelled, but it was replaced by an outing with some old school mates. It wasn't that bad after all. They have some time checking on each other's life and also had a great time for movie. It was a great time for the boy who has been staring at the computer screen for days.

Well, today was the birthday for the boy's cousin brother. They had a birthday celebration, it can also be called a family gathering at the boy's cousin brother's place. He likes that dinner pretty much because FOOD! Curry chicken eating with rice, popsicles with movies, durian along with chit-chatting. The boy truly having some fun there.

Futsal was one of the favorite sports for the boy. He had a great time this evening playing with his neighborhood. The boy wasn't really great at playing it but he did his best for the game. He sometimes do wishes they would go easy on him. After futsal, they also had at great time hanging out till night chit-chatting at the mamak store.

How could I not say that these are not awesome for the boy who love to have FUN.

:)

That shy boy had some heart-warming experience even just some short tweets or messages from the girl he admires.

This very day, the boy was amazingly surprised by the act of her mother.
She did actually made her promise and brought the boy to a fish-selling shop.
Just as what she promised, they bought 2 colorful fighting fishes.
But just this two little fishes, they lighted up the boy's day, bringing the brightest smile to his lips. :)
Well, he named them Bruce and Hachi.
That's how simple life goes.

:)

The boy knew where he stands and trying to keep a distance.
It was a rainy day. A little boy was having not a fairly good mood.
Things are not going well like the boy planed to.
An event, a gathering for the boy's old classmate was almost turned down by most of them.
Nothing much he can say, just a smile could hide those disappointment. :)
Luckily, having friend around to support and giving strength to him to finish what have not been finished.
He was glad to have you there, Nicholas. A busy friend who is willing to lend his time and ears.

:)

With no difference to the others, this little boy have a secretly admire someone too. But just for some reason, he was unable to tell her that.
